■3rd person POV■

Y/N is pouring orange juice to the glass and puts one in front of Kise.

Y/N: here...

Kise: Thank you Y/N, oh, BTW... I'm inviting Kinana for dinner today

Y/N puts the juice on the fridge and closes it. It's been three weeks since Kise and Kinana going out. Y/N met her a couple of times already when Kise invited her to the apartment.

Y/N: ah, I see... that's nice...

Kise : well, today you have nothing to do right? Don't go anywhere... this time please eat dinner with us...

Last week and the previous time when Kise invited Kinana here, Y/N always make an excuse and leave to her friend's house Hyouka.

Y/N: aah, I actually planned to look for a book with Hyo-

Kise: I can accompany you look for the book on the weekend...

Kise pouts, somehow he realize that Y/N has been avoiding him lately.

Y/N: ah... it's just... maybe you and Kinana san want to spend time together...

Kise: it'll be fun with you around... I'm sure that Kinana would be happy to know you... she has been asking to be friend's with you...

Y/N gulps down, she actually has quite a bad past with Kise's past girlfriends. All of them don't like her because she's close to Kise, and that's why when Kise has a girlfriend, she always distancing herself from him.

Y/N: b-

Kise: come on Y/N, please...

Y/N stares at Kise who's giving her his puppy eyes and can't say no to him. Y/N nods her head and again Kise hugs her out of habit. In her mind, Kise really needs to stop this habit, his girlfriend will be sad if she saw him hugging another woman.

Kise: well, she will be here with me in the afternoon after our photoshoot...

Y/N: o-kay...

With that Kise left to work and pick up his girlfriend. On the other hand, Y/N was left with a heavy feeling.

She has to be in the same place with the man she loves, and his girlfriend.

■Y/N's POV■

I'm putting my clothes that I've just ironed in my dresser when the door bell rings.

Is Ryou kun ordering something?

I walks to the door and opens it, my eyes caughts the beautiful lady standing in front of me.

Kinana san...

Y/N: ah, Kinana san...

Kinana: hey there... Ryouta chan is buying coffee at the loby's cafe...

Y/N: ah I see, please come in...

Kinana san walks in and I follows her inside.

Y/N: ah please sits here, I'm in the middle of cleaning up so I have to leave you...

Is it just me but I think I saw Kinana smirk

Kinana: Y/N is it? You've been avoiding me aren't you?

Huh? The way she speaks... it's different from the usual...

Y/N: pardon?

Kinana san walks closer to me and stares at me.

Kinana: hey admit it... you're jealous of me aren't you? How could a mere childhood friend live in the same house...

My breath hitches and my heart beats faster. Why did she became so hostile?

Kinana san walks past me and heads to the a desk with a photo of me and Ryou kun. I watches as she picks up the frame, it was the photo of when he and I in Kaijo.

Kinana looks back at me and glares...

Kinana: admit it you're in love with him right? There's no way a girls won't fall for Kise Ryouta and... you live together with him..

What are you saying?

Kinana: I'm sure he had a lot of girls before... but it's okay, now he's with me... we're a perfect match...

Ryou kun is not an object, don't talk about him like that...

Kinana : say... Ryouta chan must have an explicit relationship with other model or his manag-

I can't hold myself any longer and I come forwars.

Y/N : please don't talk like that about Ryou kun!

She looks displeased as I asked her to stop.

Kinana : well, it's weird that he keeps a girl who's not his girlfriend at home... what would the media think about this?

Y/N : he just offered me to stay in the guest room because this place is close with my campus... besides, we're childhood frie-

Kinana: then stop being so close to him because you're just his friend...

Clenches

Her words pierce my heart and it hurt so bad. I know it, I'm just his friend, but Ryou kun doesn't mind me staying here  moreover, knowing what kind of a person Kinana san in  I can't let Ryou kun with her.

I grab the frame in her hand and she looks at me.

Y/N: though he let me live with him... Ryou kun is not that kind of man...

I pull the frame from her hand and then not long after.

Kise: hey what's wrong? Why did I hear you guys argui- Kinana what's wrong?

I look at Kinana san who has tears on her eyes. Ryou kun comes closer and grab the photo frame from my hand and puts it on the table. He walks to her, walking past me right away.

Kise: Kinana? Y/N what were you guys doing?

Kinana: I'm sorry Y/N san...

Uh?

Kise looks at me  and I don't even know what to say.

Kinana: i was just trying to talk to Y/N san... but, maybe I'm bothering her... all this time I really want to get close to you but you're so busy and never join our dinner...

What are you talking about?

Kinana: so I want to have a nice girls talk, but Y/N san is busy and about to leave to her room but I follow her and then...

Kise: Y/N... why did you wave that frame photo just now?

Huh?

Ryou kun's voice is so cold and sounds angry. I look at him and my chest becomes painful as the sight of his eyes glaring at me.

Why...

Y/N: Ryou kun, no... I just-

Kinana: maybe... Y/N san is angry because I took you away from her...

Kise: the hell... Y/N, you're the one who avoids me! I never avoid you though I have Kinana... you too have your other friends right?

Why is Ryou kun...

Y/N: but I...

Kise: Kinana, go wait in my room... I'll talk to Y/N...

Kinana san walks to Ryou kun's room, but my head can't grasp the situation right away.

Then I sense that Ryou kun is standing infront of me. I look up at him and all of those 20 years being friends with him, today is the first time I saw him staring at me with such a gaze. Angry, disappointed, mistrust.

Kise: Y/N, why did you make her cry? She only wanted to talk...

Ryou kun... you... didn't even let me talk...

Kise: you've been avoiding me and her right? Why? Do you hated that I'm close with someone else? You too should have made more friends...

Ryou kun... you knew it's hard for me to interact with new people...

Y/N: I... didn't...

Kise: then why did you wave the frame!? Ddibyou want to hit- uh... you should apologize to her... I can't believe you...

It's suffocating, my head becomes Dizzy and my eyes became blurry.

Today I know, that Ryou kun and I, can't be close forever.

You didn't event listen...

Y/N: I...

■Kise's POV■

I was surprised to hear that Y/N is yelling from inside, so I walked in to see her lifting the photo frame, and in front of her Kinana is crying.

It's the first time I hear Y/N talks in such an anger and I got worked up on my own seeing Kinana cry. I can't believe that Y/N got jealous and became hostile to Kinana. All these years whenever I have a girlfriend she always distancing herself from me.

Y/N is a shy girl, she doesn't have a lot of close friends, but she never act violently before. I don't want to yell at her again.

Have I crossed the lien? It's the first time I yell at her... I'll talk later, i think I should drive Kinana home...

Kise: hft... I'll go get Kinana and drive her home... you can go rest, we'll talk lat-

My eyes widened as I look at her face. Y/N is staring blankly at the floor, tears rolls down her cheeks.

Was I being too harsh?

Kise: Y/N, hey?

Y/N: I...

Y/N finally stares at me, the eyes that she shows me right now is the first time for me to see.

She's hurt...

Y/N: I... didn't do any of that...

With that Y/N turns around and walks inside her room. I was left, too stunned to move.

Y/N was hurt...

By me...

"Y/N: I didn't do any of that"

But, Kinana is crying... did she lied...

Kinana: Ryouta chan...

I was startled and look back at Kinana who's peeking from my room. I look at Y/N's door before going to Kinana.

Kise: ah... Kinana, did Y/N really-

Kinana: did she say anything? Do you not believe me?

Her eyes are teary again, I don't know what to do. But the pain in Y/N's eyes lingers in my head.

Kise: Kinana... I think, I'll just drive you home today... we can have dinner another time...

I take her to the entrance, I look at Y/N's door once more.

■3rd Person POV■

Kise and Kinana is at the entrance, wearing their shoes when.

Kise: ah, wait  can you wait outside Kinana? I forgot my keys...

Kinana: ah okay,

Kise walks back inside, taking off his shoes and then walks to Y/N's bedroom. He stares at the closed door, his throat feels dry.

Kise: Y/N...

Silence

There's bo answer, Kise became uneasy.

Kise: Y/N... I'll drive Kinana home... later... let's talk... okay...

His voice sounds kind and careful, Y/N could hear it clearly as she was sitting right on the other side of the door. Tears trickle down her knees.

Kise : I won't be long... I'll... take my leave...

With that Kise leave while looking back once more. He goes to his car with Kinana.

On the other hand, Y/N stands up and wipes her tears away.

"Kinana: well, it's weird that he keeps a girl who's not his girlfriend at home"

Kinana's voice replayed on Y/N's head. Y/N pulls out her luggage from under the bed and open the zipper.

"Kise: I can't believe you"

Another tears rolled down her cheeks. Y/N takes out her clothes from the dresser and puts it inside her luggage.

The heart scattered...

Feelings got hurt...

And...

Friendship will be strayed...
